David McCune, Club Pro, is a retired school teacher. Dave graduated from Wilmington High School in 1960, and from Wilmington College in 1964. He received his Master Degree in Education from Wright State University in 1989.

In 1994, Dave became certified to teach golf thru the United States Golf Teachers Federation in Pennsylvania. He has been employed at the 797 Elks Golf Club since 1996, moving into his current position in 2003.

John Wynn, graduated from Fairfield High School (Butler County) in 1986.

He attended Classes at Cincinnati Technical College, Horticulture Program in 1989.

Ohio State Golf Course design-maint.& management short courses in 1996.

During high school, college, and thru 1990, he was employed by the city of Hamilton at the Twin Run Golf Course for a total of 6 1/2 yrs.

John came to the 797 Elks Golf Club on Oct. 20th, 1990. In 1999, John became certified to teach golf thru the United States Golf Teachers Federation in Port Saint Lucy, Florida. He is also a member of the following organizations: Miami Valley Golf Course Superintendents Association; Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, and the Ohio Turfgrass Foundation.

John is continually furthering his education and the board and staff at the club look forward to his continued employment as well as the public, who enjoy the beautiful and well maintained course he and his staff provide for us.
